When you sign up and pay for any one of our services, you should receive a receipt a confirmation of payment from PayPal, to the same email inbox as the one you paid from. This can take a little while to be reach your inbox and some time to reach ours. Once we receive the confirmation of payment, we will email you within approximately 24 hours, so please kindly allow this time for us to administrate. Our inbox typically floods quickly within the early period after we open up registration, so replies to emails would be delayed.

Our process is one of the few from those currently in this industry which is upon the Sunnah; we don't beat around the bush. No marriages without sister's guardians (wali), no free-mixing via online chats, no downloadable pictures, no intimate details, and no unapproved fake profiles.

Payment is taken via PayPal using the link on the Sunnah Match website homepage. We use PayPal so your payment is secure and trusted, and anyone can pay so long as they have a credit/debit card or PayPal account available. We don't take any cash or cheque payments, they are only taken online. If you have any problems, you can contact us and we may be able to provide alternatives. We charge a fee of £14.99 per month to even out the payment for people who use our service. Some people use it for longer than others and so since our service is time-based, our payment system matches it.

Sunnah Match has had a range of signups of all ages, backgrounds and levels of practice. We have Muslims of many ethnic backgrounds - Chinese, Afghan, Moroccan, Burmese, Somali, Bengali, Nigerian, Yemeni, Pakistani, Tanzanian, Algerian, Mixed race, more. We believe you should be able to find someone suitable quite soon! 

We have had over 100 candidates sign up to Sunnah Match, Alhamdulillaah. When we announce that we are taking on new candidates, we usually plan to open up for 200 candidates. However, as it's a part of our policy, and in accordance to the Sunnah, we are not allowed to divulge the information of anyone, and when you sign up we cannot divulge yours either. Therefore we do not show complete profiles to the public however we have previews of premium profiles visible on our Instagram www.instagram.com/sunnahmatch.

We now only allow sisters who have islamic guardians on board to register, with this there many complications and practical difficulties for us as a [primarily] online service. We require the details of the Wali as per the Sunnah, for when matches are found and information is ready to be exchanged between the parties. When both the brother and sister have agreed to go ahead, we send the sister's guardian's details to the matched brother. This enables the Wali to be correctly involved from the beginning because Nikkah without the Wali is not permissible in Islam. 

If sisters are unsure whether their scenario makes them eligible, or would like some help in arranging an islamic guardian, we may try to help - please email us PRIOR to signing up, at [email protected]. Furthermore, we may be able to assist the sister with speaking to her existing Wali to assure/convince him if necessary, if this is required, please email us PRIOR to signing up. We nonetheless hold the unrestricted right to decline and refund any sister whose profile has such complications which we believe deem her ineligible to register onto our service.

We advise that you go to your local mosque upon the Sunnah and speak to the Sunni Salafi Imam there, it is likely that they will be able to offer this service for you. Please email us PRIOR to signing up, as advised in the above question, if you are finding difficulty in this process.

Candidates look through our growing database, to find a match who they believe suits them best. They decide who they want to request details from.

Marriage is an important process and requires much more information than any other application in life - therefore the form is detailed, so please do fill it in honestly and thoroughly. We have reduced the current form down from our first form which was much more detailed.

Candidates may ask for contact with up to three active/available profiles per calendar month. This encourages candidates to look at quality rather than quantity in their search for a spouse. We do not limit candidates in how many profiles can be requested for the complete term of a candidate's membership with us.

Candidates are allowed to pick up to three active/available profiles per month. If you have requested more than this, you will have to wait until the next month before requesting again. If you have not yet received a response from us, we will email you with something along the lines of this soon.

As candidates now have the ability to search for profiles themselves, they can look through our growing database over the weeks and months that people get added - so we believe you will be able to find find someone suitable quite soon! Everyone knows that matches are not always found overnight, and perhaps the lengthy search is part of a test from Allaah - it is upon us to maintain reliance upon Allaah whilst still seeking the means by searching in this permissible way. 

We advise everyone to sign up as soon as possible whenever Sunnah Match opens for applicants, as great potential candidates tend to sign up each time, and it is effective to be from the first of those who can request contact with them.

Any Muslim can sign up. If you are physically (and for brothers, financially) able, then you can sign up, and it is best to sign up sooner than later because the process can usually take a while.

Yes, in accordance to the Sunnah of the Prophet (Salallahu a'laihi wasallam) , we do not discriminate between Muslim applicants, so every Muslim upon the Sunnah is welcome. Anyone from these backgrounds can hope to be matched with someone suitable by the SunnahMatch team, and we already have some applicants who may be open to you!
